It all started...
Ted is a product of a prep school /State University liberal arts education. After earning his degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies at Bowling Green University, Ted returned to Pittsburgh where he pursued numerous jobs in the film industry. With 54 motion picture credits he has endured the rigorous training of the industry as a film technician while  honing his craft and expertise in lighting. After a market change in Pittsburgh in the mid 1990’s,Ted switched into the commercial broadcast field. Here he continued to improve his lighting skills by working with the Award winning Director-cameraman Glenn Przyborski on hundreds of regional and national commercials.
Ted advanced to Director of Photography in 1998 working on dozens of high profile congressional, senatorial and gubernatorial political campaigns developing his “run and Gun” shooting and lighting style. This extensive work at Brabender /Cox political has earned him numerous “Poli” awards for cinematography.
In 2002 Ted advanced to directing commercials for Brabender /Cox and here again won several awards. Always staying current with technology... Ted was one of the first in the country to shoot 24P High Definition(Sony 900) for a political spot in New hampshire
(Bob Smith for Senate 2002) and in Florida with the Panasonic Varicam for Congressman Dave Weldon. Ted continues to use multiple formats  including High Definition , 35mm and 16mm for the storytelling process depending on the type of project.
2007 is the start of Ted’s 20th year in the film production business and has resulted in numerous new interesting projects including the filming of Super 16mm footage for the Giuliani 2008 Presidential primary.
